Hunting Season

I am really looking forward to this hunting season.  I have been drawn for three waterfowl hunts and have some really good deer on camera. I am just looking forward to a day in the field to reflect on my teaching, life and to enjoy nature.  Hopefully I will also get something to fill my plate at home too.  Any hunter let me know if you are looking forward to this as well?

    Craig,

    I have taken more deer with my pickup truck than I have ever seen while out hunting.

    Although I do enjoy hunting, and fishing, I feel if I can just slow my 30.06 down to 55 mph and put headlights and a blaring horn on it, I will get more deer than I can carry out of the woods.

    I like to bird hunt, pheasant, here in the eastern panhandle of WV. I have a friend with a nice bird dog and he has promised to bring him around this year. I keep you informed if I get the chance.
